Developing a future-proofed replacement for an outdated LMS
Scottish Enterprise is Scotland's main economic development agency funded by the Scottish
Government. Its aim is to stimulate sustainable economic growth by fostering innovation, developing high-growth industries, and increasing international trade and investment. Scottish Enterprise provides businesses with a range of support services, including funding for innovation, training, and development.
adaptiVLE worked with Scottish Enterprise to replace their sunsetted learning systems. We created custom dashboards and integrations that enhanced the experience for current users and future-proofed the new Moodle LMS for continued delivery and development of Scottish Enterprise's services.
Features of the new Scottish Enterprise LMS:
Future-proofed, multi-functional, and highly accessible.
Houses existing eLearning content (SCORM packages) for the Preparing to Export
Programme ( The programme provides businesses with the knowledge, skills, and
confidence to pursue export opportunities).
Custom Development of an online tool that allows learners to contribute toward a digital
export plan or strategy tool that can be downloaded as a PDF.
Custom reporting and dashboard suite, purpose-built for Scottish Enterprise.
Automation of account creation and enrolment onto modules.
The project is now live and has already onboarded the first cohort of users who have
successfully signed up for the programme.
